Hey Jack,

I have pruchased the bulk of my St Croix blanks from Karen at Bingham and if you tell her the urgency of your schedule, she will definitely work with you on it.

The last 6 fly rods that I have built were on the burgundy style and she has gotten them all for me in good time along with some for inventory. Somehow she seems to get them out the door quite fast - or either my timing has been dead on when she is ordering from St Croix!! She is a St Croix distributer so she has access to all blanks they produce. I have also ordered from Mudhole with quite the good service when items are in stock.

No matter who you order from, if your building schedule is tight, call first to check inventory and expected delivery so no misunderstandings can sneak into the deal. The dealers will respond properly if they know the expectations to which they will be held. I have never had dealings with a distributer that could read my mind . . .and on most days, I am glad.

Ask for Karen at Bingham or Bob at Mudhole - they can help you bunches.

Charlie
