Local TU Salmon Expo Update

Wanted to let you know that the Mohawk Valley Trout Unlimited Salmon Expo went very well. The ICRBE slide show drew plenty of attention and questions. Thanks again, Tom. TU gave me the booth next to the American Legion Post which was promting the Healing Waters Program. The New Hartford, NY Post will be starting a program. They asked me to speak to its members about adding rod building and rod adaptation to their program. It was an interesting day for me. From educating charter captains about spiral wrapped rods, to answering questions about materials, restorations, rebuilds and more, I was very busy at times. I hope to attend more events within driving distance of my home and promote our craft. With luck, I'll pick up a few builds along the way. At the very least, I've be offered a chance to fish a few spots I've never been to before!
Thanks for the support, folks!
