Is it possible to put light colored lettering on a dark blank? Dark lettering on a light blank works great, but I cannot get it to work the other way around. Re: waterslide decal

Yes you can, but you need to use white water slide paper, instead of clear.
Print your lettering, fill the rest of the decal with black (assuming a black blank) I use powerpoint, make a black box on the screen, put my lettering over the top - whatever color I want, then print on white water slide paper. Spray with clear acryllic per the instructions and apply the decal. It works great Re: waterslide decal

Thanks, I will try to find some white waterslide paper. I do have some black blanks, but a grayish graphite blank may be a little harder to match up. I got my waterslide decal paper on @#$%&, I will have to see if they have white. Re: waterslide decal

Hi all,
I have recently gotten into rod building, and have lurked here for some time. What I do for my decals is use a holographic, or light coloured sticker on the blank, underneath the clear decal transfer paper. You can get some very cool effects depending on the base sticker colour and pattern. Emil Rafanan PainInTheBass Custom Rods Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
