Short fiberglass 6/7 weight fly rod blanks?

Does any one know of a source for very good to high quality, short fiberglass 6/7 weight fly rod blanks? I am looking for something in the 7' to 7' 6" range, 2 or 3 pieces. I want to build a short fly rod to throw mice, big streamers, and large hex flies that has power and good lift in the lower butt section while having a little more flex along the length of the tip section than typically found in the faster, somewhat stiffer and more brittle graphite blanks that are commonplace now. I noticed Cabelas is offering a line of custom E-glass fly rods (CGR, 3 piece with spigot ferrules) in celebration of their 50th Anniversary. I would like to build on one of these blanks, but in recent years Cabelas will not tell you their supply sources. Any suggestions out there? Thanks!

I would contact Mark Steffen at Steffen Brothers Fly Rods.
He does not list a 5/6 Wt. that short (8ft is shortest), but he will make one for you at no extra charge.

Peter,
I don't normally use glass but did manage to find this lead.

While they won't disclose their source, they MUST disclose the country of manufacture ... that's the law. I have found it to be VERY helpful, at times, in determining the origin. It is also of interest to me since I like to build on US produced blanks.
