Hey,

I live in Sacramento but I'm up in Yreka, Ca for work and will be around this neck of the woods thru Mon with nothing to do but sit in this motel room all weekend.
Mon should go to Burney, Tue Alturas, then Susanville on Wed.. If there are any builders within 100miles or so who would like a visit and talk shop PLEASE
call or email me. rcadams1957@msn.com or 916-494-1838

Also, if anyone familiar with the area knows a "must see" place I'm all ears. I've driven thru here many time but never had time to stop & smell the roses so to speak.

THANKS!

Raymond,

Just came back from Medford / Yreka yesterday - Great couple of days you picked to be there! If you have the time, the rivers are up but I picked up one steelie (6 pounds buck), broke one off, and missed a third in 90 minutes at Casey Park on the Rogue. While you're up there, see Bob Meiser and / or Steve Godshall in Medford (if you can make in over Siskiyou Pass). Good guys, great work. Yreka isn't one of my favorite spots - the Black Bear diner is about as good as the food / drink gets.

Wayne Chubb

PS were you really up on here at 3 AM, or was that EST?

Yeah Gary had 6in of snow on my truck yesterday morning and chain controls going south on I-5! Unfortunately, I don't have any fishing gear with me.

Had supper at the Black Bear last night & had one of the best steaks I've had in quite a while! Got me a one of there coffee mugs too. I see a weave pattern in the works!

Was only up until 2am.

Found Bob's email & address in TackleWorks but the email I sent failed so he must have a new email address.
He's only about an hour from here.

You might check in with Dennis Papike (Cal-West Custom Rods). He is in the Redding Area.

Hi Raymond and Buzz,
I'm not longer in the Redding area, I'm back down in Central Cal in the little town of Ahwahnee.

Just got back to the motel after a nice visit with Bob Meiser. Such a treat it was to visit and see how Bob does a few things. He's truely got his gig down! If I could only learn to write directly on a blank as well as he!

THANKS BOB!
