We've finally made it home and just wanted to say thanks for all those who dropped by and made the 2011 ICRBE such a great event. We made many new friends, learnt a new word ("Y'all"), and had a wonderful time.

Best Regards
Dave Boyle

Bob, The Boyle`s had dinner at a BBQ restaurant with the NERBS. Cant get any better a mix of north easterners . Brooklyn, Statan Island, Long Island, Central Jersey, South Jersey, North Jersey,.......the list goes on. They also were in a booth right next to the NERBS . Dave and Caroline are great people. It was interesting talking national concerns such as health care with them. Gives you a whole other perspective. Happy to hear "yous guys "(northern speak for Ya`ll) made it home to your family safely.

Dave ...... really Caroline
The narration on the DVD makes me a little "home"sick. Maybe I'll have to go back & see how the opal fields are doing these days, though I doubt I could actually muck out another hole in the ground. Beautifully done DVD. Clear instructions. I got some from MH and plan to give them away as birthday/Christmas presents. Oh, and Lana had fewer problems with YOUR accent than the folks from the deeper south.

It was a fantastic trip!

Highlights of the show for me included:

- Seeing Lana Preston's innovative work
- Getting coated with EVA dust while the Wizard in the neighbouring boothing did his stuff (lol - just kidding - the crowd loved seeing the lathe in action)
- Watching in amazement as Bill cast his "little guide" rod and changed my perception of what guides are "right" for a rod
- Meeting great people and being blown away by how far some had traveled so they could watch my seminar. It choked me up a little as my seminar began.
- Launching the DVD
- heaps more but I don't want to ramble!

If I could have changed anything it would have been to spend more time at the show watching the seminars and learning.

We are happy to be home but really relish any opportunity to travel. Thanks again to all who made it special and we look forward to doing it all again sometime.

Cheers
Dave Boyle
