I am a returnne to custom rod building, I use to buil back in the late 70 and had to stop and raise a family. Now I am trying to work my way back in.

Pleas help me identify this guid. I have a finwick intercoastal series spinning rod in which the outer ring of the stripper guig broke. I have measured the id of the ring and it measured 23.25 mm. I am confused is a 20 or a 25 and what type finwick may have used on it.

Picture would definitely help. I am re-building a Fenwick HMXS 7' spinning rod (salmon/steelhead) right now. The one I have has a 25 on it.

I will see what I can do for a picture. It is a single foot ceramic guide. the "V" holding the ring is deep, open all the way to the foot, Meaning it is not solid part way up towards the ring.
I have look on the fenwick site and they show they are using Alconite Guides.

I am using American Tackle TTRLA guides on the one I am building. They look similar, but are not exactly what was on the rod.

Thanks all for your help. I have ordered a guide that look like it. We will see if it is close enough to be used. Again thanks for the help.
