Sanding finish/cleaning

Another finish question.

When you sand your finish to eliminate the fuzzies what do you use to wipe it off? Do you use denatured alcohol with a rag? Will a cotton rag leave more lint on the wraps? What can I use?

You shouldn't have "fuzzies" to begin with. That sort of thing isn't normal and points to another problem.

If you sand the finish, never touch it with a solvent. Simply dust off with a soft brush and recoat. Wiping with a solvent causes problems that are best avoided.

A tack cloth works well. Unravel it so it is light and fluffy then wisk off the debris. The debris sticks to the cloth. Don't use pressure to avoid transfer of wax from the cloth.
You can also use a shop vac with a clean brush.

I wipe with a small paper towel folded and wet with my mouth

I use the Blue low tack masking tape. This works very well to delint, defuzz, and leaves no residue behind.

Blue painter's tape also, like Roger.
