Anyone know where i can get a 8' XX-heavy solid glass blank? I had 2 that i bought at a garage sale years ago that became very popular with a few people I know. Would like to get my hands on 4 more.

THANKS
GARRETT

Call the guys at Mudhole. They have closeout gator glass, and i bought some from them at the ICRBE that sound like what you are describing.

Thanks Lou. I tried mudhole along with a bunch of others... no one has a 8' solid glass blank. I think my best bet is hopefully someone has a personal stash that they want to part with.

THANKS

Batson has some nice solid glass rods that I have used a lot. the only thing is that the longest one is 6 foot or so.
Depending on the handle arrangement, you could always push the blank out to a longer length if desired.

Garrett,
i just looked at what i have in the 8ft 'solid glass' line and its only the top few feet that is solid glass. Thereafter it becomes hollow although the hole in it is slight, about .25 inch in a about a 1 inch diameter blank. But if that would do, get hold of me and we can work something out.

What about if you can add a detachable handle assembly to a 6 or 7 footer ??

Thanks guys. Sorry for the late responce. My computer crashred. I think i'm going with baston and going to try to extend a 6 footer to a 7'-6" ish. Can i use 2 feet or so of the butt end of a heavy duty hollow glass rod and slide the solid glass blank inside of that? overlapping 6" or so?
