Diisplays for a Show

Hi all,
It's been a long time since I've posted. I've been asked by our local TU chapter to promote custom rod building, rod supplies and rod building classs at their annual Salmon/Trout Expo in April. I plan to display some books, videos, components, catalogs, give demos and run a slide show or power point presentation. If anyone has any photos of their work or anything else they are proud of, please feel free to fwd them on to me for the presentation. Credit will be given to the artisan. I plan to contact many of our fine sponsors for catalogs, banners, POS or whatever else they may feel like having displayed. If anyone has ANY suggestions, I am would love to hear them! I'm trying to get a few building/repair programs started locally for Kids, DAV, VA, etc. This show will hopfully help launch them. Looks as though I may get invited to a few other "outdors shows" as a result. Contact me via email or facebook and I can provide you with a phone number if you'd like to discuss things.
In the past, the volunteer programs I've been able to assist with have really left a lasting impression on those involved. Our sponsors were most gracious ( and Tom himself) as were a few builders. Being retired with a disability, it means a great deal to me to be able to give something back to society. I've been very lucky and blessed so it's my turn. Lastly, a most deserved thank you to all the folks I've dealt with via RodMaker and RodBuilding.org over the years. You've been a critical part of my physical and emotional rehab since my injury and you continue to inspire with your work and your kindness towards each other and newbies. Don't ever change!
Grandpa always said "...when you do a favor for someone, forget about it immediately, but when someone does you a favor, never foget it..." I try to live by that. Hope I'm doing a decent job of it.

With Respect,
Ray Mazza

Thanks Ken. Feeling much better and planning to dive in with vigor!! Wish I could make it to ICRBE but have a conflict. Next year for sure. I'll be hooking up with NERBS in the near future and hope to visit with some builders throughout the year as well. Have a new Renzetti on the way, spending big money on tools tends to motivate! lol As always, if you're in CNY, let me know. All are welcome.

The invitation is reciprocal - D.C. / Baltimore area. You have a bed & can come play in the shop or fish (or both).
