minima guides

Ordered some size 4 minima fly guides, looks like the i.d. is 3mm (.118).
Wondering if there is a correlation of the # and i.d.. I thought a #4 was the same as a #4 SF, wrong?? Any help would be appreciate. Stan Yerger Re: minima guides

You can not go by the ID of the insert. You have to go by the ID of the frame. Re: minima guides

Mike is correct..one thing with the minima guides is the opening is larger per size than other ceramics. this is due to the ring used is thinner so it makes a larger opening..this allows you to use a smaller lighter guide.. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
