Just a question for some of the builders attending the ICRBE....which seminars are you targeting to attend this year?.....(I'm just curious based on the line up)

The talks by the manufacturers on both Saturday and Sunday as to what is on the horizon blank material wise and rod/blank design wise.
A lecture or two from the Thread King Billy in full wizard regalia is essentia for us Non Nerbs folks.
Foam Core Grips clashes with Gary Loomis the one day and and i will somehow need to see that too but how can I miss the talk about Epoxies by Ralph O'Quinn?
Hydro painting sounds just off the wall enough that i need to see it.
So short answer is I don't know how to do it all.

However I plan it, my plan will go wrong, I WILL get side tracked, time will fly and it will still be good.

Being a blank builder junkie I'll be at the Gary Loomis and Jason Brunner seminars... The rest will be spent guarding the NERBS booth from rod rack knock overs..

Sure, you can video tape in the exhibit hall, just not in the seminar rooms. Thanks.

This is a hard question as there is never time for all the ones I would like to go to.

1. Foam core grips is a must for me.

2. Abalone inlays will be useful

3. Thread weaving is interesting to me

4. Using alternate materials should be interesting also

2008 I had eight or so seminars picked out and I only made to one. There is just so much to see and people to talk too. I`m not complaining though.

the abalone should be an eye opener even for builders who have done this before....Kevin has some new stuff that you won't believe until you see it for yourself

John, is that you doing the hydro paint seminar?

I'm a left coaster and can't make it this year, but would love to hear more post conference. About to have some seats done by the folks in the northwest.

Getting back to the topic....

With the issues I have with thread finish, I think Ralph O'Quinn is a must see.
