At the ICRBE Lana will be working with a geometric bead wrap (applying beads to an underlying geometric thread pattern) as shown in RodMaker. In addition she will have on hand some other work that she has done "free form". One of these will be used as a test of the new one-part rod finish (assuming I can procure some). Stop by and check it out. See you all in High Point. We're starting the pack up tomorrow so we don't forget too many things. Re: ICRBE demo

LMAO! Ken, but isnt it so nice to have something in common with your Lovely wife. I am fortunate enough that my 10yr old son builds and does closed wraps. It is great to have another passion in common with him Re: ICRBE demo

Yes, I am blessed. Lana 'caught the bug' and understands very well how it's possible to get lost in the shop for hours when a project is in progress. She also shares my love for fishing and using the rods that I (and now she) has made. Last year is was hard to drive over lake Gaston on the way to High Point without a quick stop to toss a line. My daughter is also an avid fisherman (she prefers that to fisherwoman) and built her first rod when she was 9 or 10 (I'm older and time has somehow collapsed). I'm not exactly sure what happened but neither of my boys really picked up on fishing or building fishing rods -- maybe 10 years spent in the dusty, dry Outback of Australia had something to do with it. They've both learned how to build rods - but simply don't have a desire to continue. Re: ICRBE demo

NERBs -
If one of you want to do a quick, not super detailed pattern wrap - scrap tube - Lana may need one to work on on Sunday (or not). Re: ICRBE demo
