epoxy on underwraps

i always put a thin coat on the underwarap even if the threads still show through. I then put two coats on the overwraps that way any threads left exposed on the underwrap will be properly covered. Re: epoxy on underwraps

Ditto here. It sure makes the over-wraps easier. Be sure to let it dry well before wrapping over. If its still tacky you will have a tough time moving/packing/burnishing your threadwork on the over-wrap. Matt Smith Greensboro, NC Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
