How do you get your CP to be throughly mixed but without bubbles?
The instructions say not to shake it and I follow the directions but then I'm not really sure that it is adequately mixed. When I do ignore the instructions and "shake away," it comes out with many, many bubbles. Thank you. Re: CP and bubbles

I stand the bottle upside down for a few minutes and then repeat Mike (Southgate, MI) If I don't want to, I don't have to and nobody can make me (except my wife) cuz I'm RETIRED!! Re: CP and bubbles

Charles -
What you cite is one reason I moved to Cason's Crystal ...... no mixing (not shaken or stirred) Re: CP and bubbles

BIg deal bubbles in CP - fully saturate the threads with CPbubbles, wick the brush, go back over and wick off teh excess CP. THe bubbles won't be tehre if you wick the excess off. Re: CP and bubbles

You can put some in a small jar say baby food size and just rotate it in circles like a centerfuge. go slow and steady. Iso have to agree with others though I don't worry about them much anymore I just blow them out with a straw after the wetoit. Re: CP and bubbles

Mike, you apply heat to CP? I never worry about bubbles. I shake it like a cheap bottle of Champagne and wick off the excess. Its not thick like epoxy so the bubbles burst real easy. Freddwhy (Rapt-Ryte) Re: CP and bubbles

I really like the idea of chucking up that Chromaseal bottle. Great idea. Thank you. I hate have to use a mixing stick and I was using the brush to stir but that causes other issues with gunk on the ferrules of the brush. (I buy god brushes and clean them and re-use them) Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
