Wanting o build a couple of spiral wrap trolling rods for kokanee/trout/land lock kings
Prefer a one piece, 7'-8, glass-composite-graphite? I read about using a Seeker CSP702-1, however I could not find such blank on their catalog, I found a SP702 under the spining section though. Thanks! Re: Kokanee/trout blank suggestions

I just finished a trout rod on a SP702 wrapped as a casting rod. It's for a friend of mine and he wanted conventional rather than spiral. Good trout rod. Personally I like to go a little lighter for a kokanee rod and the best blank I've tried is unfortunately a 2 piece. It's the Amtak 764-2 fly blank.
Wrapped in a sprial with micros, with a foam core carbon fiber grip to compliment that nice blank is the ultimate kokanee rod. Re: Kokanee/trout blank suggestions

Sergio,
I have built a number of kokanee rods on a St. Croix SCIII 3S80MLM2 blank and they work great on those little soft mouth salmon. Larry Re: Kokanee/trout blank suggestions

Sergio,
Look at the RDR76ML blanks from Batson. I've built 5 or so Koke rods on these blanks and they are great. Check them out, the blanks aren't that expensive either. Re: Kokanee/trout blank suggestions

One thing I forgot to mention is that the rods aren't just for Kokanees. Mine have done really well for Lake Trout, Splake, Rainbows, Cutthroats, and the occasional lake bound brown trout. If you are going to be going after bigger fish, you can look at some of the stouter models such as the RDR86H, etc. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
