I’m in the process of building a 8 ft. 4 wt. fly rod.
I’ve been using SF guides size 1 or 2 on my tip sections with good results. Would like to use the minima guides but as yet the smallest I can find are size 3. Any thoughs would be appreciated. Stan yerger Re: minima guides

The smallest available are size 4. No one has any 3's and won't have for several more months.
The 4's are fine and extremely light. They work great on a fly rod. .............. Re: minima guides

They may be listed, but they do not currently exist. Pacific Bay had hoped to have them by December, but now it looks like it will be early Summer at the earliest.
You're talking about a tiny bit of difference between the 3 and the 4. They're extremely light and if you just go ahead with the 4's you'll be fine. I think you'll like them. ................... Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
