Rod build under way

I posted questions before Christmas about building my handle. Thanks to many here I have my handle almost done. One individual in particular sent me some rubberized cork material all the way from Florida thanks Herb. My brother did the lathe work on the Yew wood did a beautiful job on the Celtic Knot.

I tried the double full wells but thought the shaping made the top end look overbalanced so I changed it to a taper on the top section and the bottom is a full wells. the fighting but is just a typical shape for a spey rod. Thanks so much for the help.
