Since Gudebod went away for awhile I ran low on my supply so I like others searched for an alternate, I tried many different brands and was not satisfied. I have finally found a great thread and wish I used it before now, it is FishHawk, I use mostly metallics and this is by far the nicest thread to work with, no springing or twisting off the spool and it lays nice. Both my son and me agree that this will be our thread of choice from now on, incidentally I am using the "P" metallics Re: Wrapping Thread

This is good info to know. I have been looking for good alternatives and this sounds like good thread Re: Wrapping Thread

I am finding that most or all of the New threads do not have any - stretch - in them. I liked the stretch ??? Bill - willierods.com Re: Wrapping Thread

Ed,
Thank you for the kind words. We are very happy with the response we have had from the rod building community. We are very excited about our future and look forward to 2011.
