Meguiar's Carnauba Wax. It is a liquid - wipe on, buff to shine. Twice a year and it keeps them nice and clean.

I like Honda Spray Cleaner and Polish, you can get it at most motorcycle shops. It may be Pledge in a Honda can, but it works great. It also works good to clean rods periodically especially if you fish around grass.

I've been using a product called Royal Blue, a carnaubu wax that buffs out so clear you can use it on glass.

Last year I started using Renaissance microcystalline wax on my fly rods. I applied it to the nickel hardware, the wood spacer and from the winding check to the tiptop.

I use both a high quality hard wood floor past wax or a carnauba
