The specs on these two look very similar. Any comparisons from those who have handled both? Re: Rainshadow HS9000 vs Lami LP844?

Absolutely NOTHING in common outside of raw materials. Re: Rainshadow HS9000 vs Lami LP844?

The Lamiglas blank is higher modulus, uses newer multi-modulus material blending designs (similar to the Batson RX8+ designs), and it's much slower/lighter powered. Re: Rainshadow HS9000 vs Lami LP844?

The Lami is slower? I measured one and it was the fastest blank in my shop. _________________________________________ "Angling is extremely time consuming. That's sort of the whole point." - Thomas McGuane Re: Rainshadow HS9000 vs Lami LP844?

The Batson HS 9000s I own have a very light tip that stiffen dramatically after the first 18 inches. Much quicker and more powerful than the MHX or Loomis blank with the same designation, or the Lamiglas popping rod. Not near as enjoyable to cast as the other blanks either.
