Once I build a rod with them for someone, so far, they don't want anything else.

Reason - good performance, light weight, highly durable.

How do they hold up to Braid?

I have not seen any issues with braid yet. I even had a musky rod that sees heavy use with braid come in for a repair and the guides look good. The musky rod does have a carbide top however.

I agree with Marc. I have built many rods using the Minima 4 guides and they work very well.
But as Marc suggested for very heavy use as Muskys, I tend to also run a carbide tip. But for other applications, I use the standard Minima matching tip with no issues with either mono, or with braid.

No wear or grooving.

Also, compared to recoil guides, the weight is similar, but the guides are not as noisy as the recoil guides.

Please think carefully about using the minima 3 guides. I built a couple of rods wiht minima 3 guides and the rods came back. The minima 3 have single swaged inserts and the rods ended up abrading the line. This happens, becuse when you look closely at the minima 3 guides, you can see tiny sharp edges on one side of the guides.
I think that most of the distributors have stopped carrying the minima 3 guides due to this issue.

But, no issues at all with the minima 4 guides which are double swaged. With the swaging on both sides of the guides, the sharp edges on one side are eliminated.

Just use the minima 4 and the guides will be fine.
