Guide placment on bends

I saw the other post giving info on spinning rods. But what is the recommendation for wrapping on casting rods? I have been doing all of mine with the bend pointing upward.

The rod blank doesn't know if it's a spinning or casting rod. You can do one just as you do the other. Not sure what the point would be in doing a spinning one way and casting another.

Don't think spine is on the bend or curve. Usually off to one side of it.

spine and curve are two different things. In my opinion, curve is relevant, spine is not
