Slop rod

Got a guy who wants a slop/frog rod. Only catch is he wants it to be a spinning setup. 7 footer, 50lb braid, fishing for Minnesota large mouth with top water frogs in the muck.
He'll be running a 2500 shimano.

I am looking for blank suggestions. Do I just go with a mag bass topwater style blank and build it up for spinning? Or are there some other options I am unaware of?
Thanks in advance.

Designed just for this purpose!
Doesn't mater whether spinning rod or bait casting.
If he is stuck on 7ft, you could cut 2 inches off the butt.
But that may void the warranty you would have to ask Batson about that.

If the warranty is no good with 2" off the blank, explain that to him to make sure you don't eat it if he breaks it.
