A couple of hours should be sufficient under most conditions. It will be tacky longer but will not flow. The best way to test the condition of the epoxy is to leave the unused remaining mixture out wher you can touch it rather than touching a wrap. If it fingerprints, you don't want them on a wrap! I put mine in the dryer which is set up on a timer for 3 hours usually before going to bed. When I get up I test the leftover mixture and it is under most circumstances dry to a lite touch after approximately 6 to 8 hours later. The room is set at 72 degrees in the winter, and 78 in the summer. After 24 hours Iam quite confident to handle it under any conditions, even test cast it if needed or apply a 2nd coat.
