Two Expos

We have a bit of an unusual situation regarding the Expo this year. For the first time in our 8 year history, the Greensboro Bass & Saltwater Expo is scheduled on the same weekend as our Expo. I consider it a bit of good luck.

The Bass & Saltwater Expo opens on Friday. So, if you’re in town early on Friday with nothing to do until that evening’s RodMaker Reception, you have the option of traveling about 10 to 12 miles over to the Greensboro Coliseum to attend that event. To be honest, in recent years it has featured more in the way of food, sunglasses and condo dealers than fishing tackle dealers. But, there’s a ton of boats there and at least a few good general fishing tackle dealers, too. Several custom rod builders exhibit there as well, including Capt. Rick Bennett (Rod-Man Fishing) and John Ballard (JB Custom Rods). Several others as well.

So, you do have an option for something to do on Friday if you’re in early. No reason some of the guys with cars couldn’t car-pool over together. Fishing is fishing - there's always something of interest.

SWEET!! I am in the market for a new boat this year... couldn't think of a better start to the show than possibly hooking up a new ride to tow home!

Look forward to seeing you all at the show this year.
Tom
