I just ordered a bunch of ProWrap NCP thread. Does the NCP mean i dont need a color preservative for it to keep the same color when i finish it with epoxy? Thanks for your help!

Kevin, that is correct. With NCP thread, color preserver is not required. It may darken slightly, but It will keep it's solid color when finish is applied.

Kevin, I suggest you do a test wrap with the NCP thread and a nylon or polyester (Madeira) using CP and finish on the regular thread and only finish on the NCP thread. The NCP looks like you painted the rod and will not have the sparkle that the other threads will have. If you like the look of the NCP threads, then proceed to wrap your rod with it.

Mike is correct. I myself like to use only regular nylon because it looks better

Don't worry about using CP on your threads. They will be strong !!

Yes, ProWrap is very nice thread. The color is consistent on the spool, ProWrap Size A is slightly thinner than Gudebrod Size A. The Size D is about the same diameter as Size C
