Does anyone know about Billy Vivonnas thread art book, and how easy or hard is it to learn from?

I bought Billy's book earlier this fall and prior to that had NEVER attempted ay wraps, closed or open. I've since done two wraps, an American flag and a fish. I think they both turned out great.

Once you get your mind around the concepts it presents, it's pretty straight forward. I would definitely buy it again.

Thanks,
Chad Huderle

Read the "how to", it's 11 pages long. DO not pay much attention to the sizing section. Read the glossary, read th page on Deciphering the pattrn sheets. Re-read the first 11 pages. TRyto do a Spidaer wrap, then go back and read those 11 pages again. That usually is what peoplenedto gt ging in the right direction. If you halfass read th instructionsit'll never catch on.YOumigh tdo all that I said, and it still not catch on - it's not for everyone, but I honstl yhtinkmost peopl if thyput th time in they can do nice wraps. I didmy best to simplify vrythign so that it's as asyas can be to go form a to z. And I spelled everythign crrctly I think, lol > ,my ketboardis shot sorry

Billy, I was wondering, did you come up with all those thread patterns you have in your book? and how long does it take to create a pattern? Is that in the book also?

A lot of the patterns were from Custom Rod THread Art by Dale Clemens > that book taught me how to. A lot of the pattrns I came up with on my own using VisualWRap software. Link on the left. I do not go into how to create a pattern, I just list the sequence and steps to create each one in the book.
