for wraps get Billy Vivona's book. A few blanks, a whole mess of thread. And start wrapping.
for weaves I believe DocSki has some instructional videos out. Re: weaves and wraps

I bought a wonder weaver and the visual weave software and Jim Upton's book "A guide to weaving"
I also have Billy's book as well as both books by Dale Clemens. Then I just started practicing on dowels, rod blanks, etc Also, there are places that offer classes like mudhole, nerbs, etc I am also very fortunate to have guidance from a friend who used to build rods and do wraps and weaves and that has helped me learn a lot There are also tutorials online like rodbuildingtutorials.com etc Re: weaves and wraps

The Wonder Weaver does not require the use of any specific rod lathe or wrapper.

Tom is right. I have a Pac Bay wrapper myself. You could use it on wood blocks, books, anything that will support the blank. The blank supports the wonder weaver Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
