I have a 1970's teloscoping croppie blank from a customer, I'm looking to replace the tip, but it need's to be hollow so the line can go thru. any ideas were I can get such a tip top.

Gordon; If the blank tip is large enough inside you can glue in a Pop Rivet bushing when the line goes through the blank. I have done that many times. Or you can glue on a tube from a regular tip top ( on the outside) . Just need something to prevent the line from splitting the blank at the tip.

Another thing that you can do is to simply do an overwrap on the tip. Of course,without a liner of some sort, the line friction might eventually wear through the fiberglass, but it will take some time with crappie line.

I have never seen one of these rods, so don't know the lay out. Having read the 2 replies, I came up with an idea. Go to the local hobby shop. They have tubing in small sizes. This comes in both brass and steel. Find a piece the will fit inside the tip. This can ten be cut to the length you need, and epoxied into the rod.

That idea will work fine with one small modification.
If you just cut off a piece of tubing and stick it in the rod, you have a very sharp edge that will cut through a line in an instant.
I would suggest that if you do use a tube for the tip of the rod, that you use a naile or other tapered object to "bell" out the end of the tube and to prevent the end of the tube from cutting the line.

If you go to the hardware store, you may be albe to find a brass eyelet with a belled end on it.

I thought about adding this to the email. I simply forgot. I would would bevel both ends of the tube, and then polish the bevels.
