Cabela's blanks help

I know many of the rodbuilders on this site hold little truck with Cabela's blanks, but for those who may use them, I'd like some help. Have any of you built on the FishEagle II Steelhead blanks, specifically the 9-foot GST906 (1/2-2 oz) and the GST905 (1/2-1 1/2 oz) models? Which of these will feel better throwing 1 oz metal and what do they handle well a lttle above or below 1 oz? Also, related to the 10-foot GST1006 rated at 1/2-2 oz, assuming this blank will throw 1 oz OK, is it more comfortable throwing above or below this weight?

Thanks.

Bill,
First, I've fished or cast neither of the blanks you mentioned so I can't be any first-hand assistance.
You might check the reviews on their web-site if you haven't already.

I've have fished the fish eagle fly rods and have several over 20 years old including the first rod I ever put together. They were fine fishing instruments in their day and very reasonably priced.
Policies and suppliers have changed in the past several years and the results may have also changed. Hope not, they were an outstanding value for a fine rod.
