Does anyone know what type of eva foam grips Shimano uses on their cumara rods? Re: Shimano Cumara eva grips

EVA is made in different hardness levels - I have not handled a Cumara, but I do know that Batson's EVA split grips are the hardest I have handled.
I also recently was looking over some Carrot Stix withe the EVA - theirs was as soft as wet dish sponge. Re: Shimano Cumara eva grips

Victor,
In most cases EVA is going to be rather hard and mark and dent easily. If the handle feels spongy it is more than likely Hypalon. Hypalon is heavier but in my opinion more comfortable. EVA will be more like cork regarding feel and weight. Many of the sponsors to the left can guide you to what you want. Tight lines, John H Re: Shimano Cumara eva grips

We measure EVA by durometer reading. Ours typically hits 55 every time, which is pretty hard but still has a little give to it. -The Batson TEAM BatsonEnterprises.com Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
