I need to build two swimbait rods. The rods will be used for bigger baits. I am guessing up to 6oz. What blanks would serve this purpose?

The 4 models of swim bait blanks offered by Batson Enterprises/Rainshadow are a proven series and you will not be disappointed with your choice. These rods have seen a lot of action from some of the top fisherman in this country from catching big large mouth bass to white sea bass to thresher sharks to large strippers to name a few species. very versitile blanks. I am sure you can find the one that fits your application perfectly. The #1 selling Blank company in the industry. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

NOTHING better than a rod that catches threshers and big strippers....... but I'd check out the Rogue swimbait blanks.

The Batson ISWB945 will do the job for sure, but I caution you not to build this rod if you don't intend on a minimum of 2 oz baits. I had a difficult time loading this rod with less than 2 oz. I also just completed a Phenix USB-711MH-B and if you had not said 6oz, this would be my choice, it loads on al ittle less bait than the batson. Both rods came out to the same build weight, right under 7 oz.
