Hi guys.

Got a heavy rod that I am only replacing half the guides. Got some pictures of them and to me they look like Fuji, SIC ??

Bill,Fuji guides have Fuji stamped on the front upright leg or one of the rear side legs. If you don't see it then assume its not. Many foreign makers have simple chromed frames that have less expensive rings that look like SIC. In other words..."shiny darker rings." is this a custom rod built for him? Or was it a production rod? The latter may prove useful in narrowing it down as to the guide manufacturer and style.

The brace on the bottom of the ring seems to go forward some. Where mine come straight down and then curve.

I am going with the Fuji aconite or SIC J series.
