I am looking for a 3 piece blank with which to build light spinning and conventional rods, 6 1/2 to 7 feet in length. Lures in the 1/2 to 1 1/2 oz. range. Hopefully not too expensive. Does anyone know who manufactures such a blank and, if so, who would retail it.
Thanks for your help. Re: Three Piece blanks

Batson has options, check their page for RX6 spin/travel, RX6 saltwater travel, and RX7 Peacock bass travel. They come at very reasonable prices, and are very nice blanks. I think there are several options that will fit the bill. Re: Three Piece blanks

My first recommendation would be the Batson RX7 Peacock Bass Travel blanks. St. Croix also has some 3 piece travel blanks in their Tidemaster series.

American Tackle has a nice selection of 3 piece blanks in their "traveler" series but I don't think they go out to 1.5 oz only 1 oz. MudHole sells them Re: Three Piece blanks

I built up two of the American tackle MH travel blanks as 7' spinning rods for use on Florida vacations. I think they are a great value and they easily cast 1 1/2 oz lures. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 11/16/2010 10:23AM by Ed Grella. Re: Three Piece blanks
