I had epoxied my wrap yesterday, and today I saw small bubbles that I did not see yesterday, will those bubbles eentually go away, or will they stay?

If the bubbles are worrying you, you might like to try one of the following....but extreme care will be required.
1. Try popping the bubbles with a small, electric soldering iron, ensuring the iron has been thoroughly cleaned beforehand.
2. Try polishing them away using a high speed buffing wheel (such as a Dremel) and a light cutting compound such as automotive polish.
In both cases you will need a steady hand, and may need to finish the job with a pin-head dob of epoxy where the bubbles were.
Both methods have worked for me in the past.
Let me know how you go.

Good luck

PS Fishing is not a matter of life or death.....it's much more serious than that.

Lorenzo. I too have experienced this and have learned that there is sometimes air trapped in the thread that releases sometimes later while the rod is drying. So i now make it a habit to finish when I know I can check on the drying process and hour or so later. Many times in the past I did this right before going to bed and in the morning there have been bubbles. In one instance I was able to use a file to reach the trapped bubbles and then after smoothing them out re-apply a small amount of finish

Also, depending on what finish you use there is a "bubble buster" spray bottle available that helps with certain finishes and I prefer this to using heat as heat makes the finish cure quicker and seems to create more bubbles at times. The bubble buster may help with preventing the bubbles but will not help with your current situation
