2011 expo hotel

I will hopefully be attending the expo in Feb & I was wondering from your past experiences which hotels are "better" than others. Distance from the expo is not an issue as I will be driving down. I would prefer a hotel in a "good" part of town & possibly secure parking.
If you prefer not to answer on the forum please feel free to email me.

Thank you for your time!

The Courtyard by Marriot would be a top pick for you. It's about 2 miles from the Showplace, located across from Oak Hollow Mall with plenty of restaurants nearby.

They also offer a special rate for those attending the Expo, but you have to remember to request that rate when you book your room.

The JH Adams Inn would be another good choice.

Here's the list of nearby hotels and motels: [www.icrbe.com]

i can't speak for the numbers, but i most stay at the best western across the street from the showplace. It is amazing what is learned and the camaraderie had at the bar and restaurant after the show closes. I have learned so much there as well as cemented many good friendships that are still alive today.
