Hello all,
I'm looking for Orange Aluminum Winding checks and found no one carries them, no mudhole or even matagi. Could someone please point me into a good direction for orange winding checks? Thank you! Re: Orange Aluminum Winding Checks?

Here's something out of the box ... turn one from acrylic.
Example of acrylic winding check ... [www.rodbuilding.org] Orange acrylic block ... [www.swamplandtackle.com] Re: Orange Aluminum Winding Checks?

You could also get any color you can find cheap and powder coat them. Powder coating is cheap and relatively easy, especially on small stuff. Re: Orange Aluminum Winding Checks?

I simply chuck 1/2 the block into the lathe, drill the center to the correct ID and about 1" in depth, shape the exterior, cut loose and then sand the bottom on a piece of paper (use finger, drawing figure 8s). It really is easy, just give it a try. Re: Orange Aluminum Winding Checks?
