Any suggestions to safely clean dust from a blank just before epoxy? Don't want to increase the chance of fisheyes or bubbles. Thanks. Re: Dust removal

try a tack cloth from your local hardware or paint supply store.

Fred,
You can also use the blue low tack masking tape. It works very well and leaves no residue behind. Roger Re: Dust removal

A soft brush works well and no chance of any chemical residue Mike (Southgate, MI) If I don't want to, I don't have to and nobody can make me (except my wife) cuz I'm RETIRED!! Re: Dust removal

I also use a wrap of blue tape around my finger to "tap" the tread if any dust or threads are present. Works well and something you always have laying around. Re: Dust removal

Thanks guys, my last experience with a tack cloth seemed to leave a residue that fish-eyed...may have rubbed too hard. I think I'll try your blue tape idea. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
