No, you wouldn't use an airbrush gun. There is an electro-static gun made for applying a charge and then spraying the nylon flock onto an adhesive coated surface. It can also be done with a simple hand tube flocking piece. You can read the article in the Volume 7 #3 issue of RodMaker or check the library page here. I seem to recall listing it there.

Uh ........ I use an airgun for Flocking and the manufacturer where Ton is quoted sells one .......... I think there might be a confusion in the terminology. Although the flocking gun operates like an airbrush in that it uses an air source, is attached to a canister and has airflow/flock flow adjustments, it's called a flocking gun and not an airbrush.
