Tiger problem

Doing a tiger wrap on a build for my cousin and I think I might have a problem. Under is PAC bay cherry red & chrome. I planned on doing met red on top but after reading a lot of posts saying it's not a good idea to use met threads on top I'm not sure what I should do. Any color recommendations? Don't want to use black because my last tiger was way too dark.

Best advise for tigers is to do a test wrap using several different combos and pick the one you like best. You can use metallic thread for the top.

I have been playing with them I found out that white NCP in the base makes it POP over a white lacquer painted blank. regular white nylon with CP did not pop as much.

I forgot to mention I already have 2 coats on the base wrap. I'll give it a try with the met red and see how it looks.

I have done metallic red, blue, as well as Burgundy and all outcomes have been awesome. I tried silver didn't like it as well as the gold. I haven't tried green yet but it should work also. The red and blue metallics were my favorites though.

here is a link to the burgundy.
