Has anybody used the Fuji TATSG guides ? I'm going to build a trout and crappie spinning rod, 6' 6" using 2 - 4 lb. test with micros and was just wondering about these guides.
Thanks

To me they look like they would bend real easy/ Check out the American Tackle Titan guides better priced

Hi Terry
I bought a set some time ago and wasn't that impressed. They seem to be very high framed and the transition down to the choker is hard to get right. I haven't used them as yet because I don't really have a suitable rod blank. Another thing, the single leg is very slender and prone to bending from travel, storage etc.. Now that the K's are released, I fear my set of TATs will lie dormant for some time....

used them on two rods, had no problems with set up.
But like Chris said, they bend rather easily from travel and moving around in th boat. When I purchased them I was expecting them to be flexible like the recoil guides, but they are far from it.
Had the stripper guide break off at the foot., however Donnie Paul with anglers resource was gracious enough to replace it the Expo last year with out any questions

They work very well and I haven't had any reported problems on dozens of inshore rods.

Thanks guys. Since I'm building this for a friend of mine's father-in law for a Christmas present I think I'll stick with the regular guides. I still might try them on another rod for myself. Once again thanks for the replies.
