Interchangable reel seat parts

Does anyone know, if different hoods from reel seats will go together. For example I have amtak, fuji, and pac bay hoods I took off broken rods' reel seats. Will these parts go together. Could I put a fuji hood on an amtak seat, etc.?

You will need to test for yourself. The diameters may be different even within the same manufacturers line.

like Phil said, just check each one. sometimes they can work and other times not depending on the seat and model involved.

Peter,
Many times they will interchange, but sometimes they won't. Just take potential swap parts and try them for yourself.

Take care
Roger

Peter,
I have interchanged the various parts from different manufactures, as stated by Phil they can and do vary in diameter. For the mst part though they do mix well.

Tight lines,

JH
