I've used both and a few other weave patterned CF's.
Either will work just fine. The major difference is that one is using more threads per weave, basically a little heavier cloth. But maybe a tad less reason allowing for the similar weights.

IMO the one with the slightly higher resonant frequency will be more sensitive, but whether that sensitivity is enough to notice with your hands That I cannot tell you

Which one is stronger, (denser, more fiber) the checkered or chevron one?

........................"Per the rules, links to other sites that feature advertising are not allowed"..................

Then, why don't YOU set this forum in such a way that pictures can be placed next to the topic and not in the BFE where people have a hard time finding them or knowing what is all about???

Danny what is your concern with the tube strengths?
In over 20 years of using different tubings I've yet to see a failure in any of them.

As far as your comment above I would suggest learning how to use the forum as Is.
Almost every day, posters post links to pictures in the photo section with out problems. Educating yourself on how to use this forum would be more practical then expecting it to be changed to suite your needs.

Needed to know (I got the answer on the other FORBIDEN forum) which one is stronger between them. Want to use it as rear handle with minimum support on the blank and was afraid not to breack it. Since the link was removed, a lot of present members will not be able to see the pictures.
To by-pass "...the rules, links to other sites that feature advertising are not allowed", if anybody wants to see the link (BUT DON'T LOOK AT THE COMPETITIVE ADVERTIZING!!!!!!), PM me and will send you the pictures.
P.S This forum advertises rod building components and the other forum advertises tackle. I don't see the competition, unless you build a rod and never use reels, line, hooks, bait.

Danny,

The rules about posting links to other sites that feature advertising have nothing to do with what is being advertised, whether it be rod building components or Eskimo Pies.

Regardless of whether you like the rules or agree with them, the fact is that you agreed to abide by this forum's rules when you registered here. You haven't been persecuted here nor given a hard time. No one is forcing you to use this forum so if you do not like the rules or do not intend to follow them, you are free to go elsewhere.

Danny;
I use them as rear handles all the time with minimal and some times no support.

You could easily chose the weaker of the two and not fear failure
Your blank will will die long before your handle.

It would have been easier to answer your question, if you had included the info on what you were trying to find out.
