HI All, I'm planning a trip to BC next summer and I want to build myself a suitable spining rod. I'm hoping to find myself some steelhead and perhaps a salmon or two! However I know nothing about spinning rod blanks or lures and wondered whether someone would share their knowledge in terms of weight / length of blank / size of lures I'm going to need.
any advice appreciated! cheers David w Re: advice spinning rod please

David,
If you are unsure of how exactly you'll be fishing I'd recommend something like a Lamiglas GSH1022MT, 8'6" 8-17 lb. this blank is a great all around model and will work well for most applications. Todd Regards, Todd Vivian Mud Hole Custom Tackle todd@mudhole.com Re: advice spinning rod please

many thanks , I'd love to call, but unfortunately I'm in the UK, so phone bills would prohibit. Do you have a skype system?
