Does anyone know if Laquer paint job on a rod will hold up to Lumiseal? Iv'e painted 2 rods with a ready to spray laquer Dupli-color paint, and want to put a coat of Lumiseal.

Not sure I would rely upon somebody elses opinion or experience on this one. You might ruin your paint job. There is only one sure fire way to find out.......try it! Put some of your paint on a scrap stick, let it dry, and then apply the Lumaseal over it. That was you will know for SURE what will happen.

There is a learning curve to using Permagloss and LumiSeal. You should play on scrap if this is the first time.
