Every body needs to relax here. No one likes to pay it and no one likes to charge for it. It is a fact of life though. Thousands of people are purchasing on line these days and have become used to shipping. It's cheaper than the gas to drive there! Thirty years ago most companies ate the cost of shipping because it was 50 cents for a one pound package. Now it's around 8.00. I sell parts for John Deere and we pay about 12,000.00 per year on incomming special order items. We must pass this on to the customer to survive. It took a few years to get customers used to it. Now they expect it and alot of that comes from their own internet purchasing. Expect to pay it and always charge for it.

The most recent slap in my face was when I purchased a fly reel from the "popular fly equipment dealer" and had to not only pay taxes (out of state purchase), but I also paid taxes on the shipping amount!!! Last purchase from them!!
