I use 20, 30, 60 or 80 lb PowerPro. Go to your local tackle shop and ask if you can have some line that they take off reels that they reload with line. It is normally in a box by the winding machine and is absolutely FREE!!! When someone gets their reels redone, normally, the last 100 yards is absolutely unused and still like new.
I get it and then cut it as I wear it out, which is about every 2 months and then keep going. Kevin Re: Pull Back Loop

I was using a simple mono nylon loop and never know were is it.
Now that i look at all this ideas i made a new one for me and i like it. I made it with a braided line 0,16mm and to avoid that the pearls slap the rod i made a small cylinder in red foam to substitute them. Now i see it! Thanks for the ideas guys. Abraço Nuno Re: Pull Back Loop

You can go to any craft store and find beads of many different colors. Take 1 and put it on the loop and it is easier to see on the bench. Re: Pull Back Loop

Kevin i use the foam to avoid the beads slap on the blank.
