I want to THANK everyone for the GREAT response we have had with our new blanks. The new X-Popping Blanks and the new X-Walleye have been selling better than expected.
We knew we were going to do well with the popularity of the X-Bass, that we introduced over 2 years ago. but we had no idea how well. If you have not gotten one of these new blanks I recommend you do. With over 60 new models in the Rainshadow line we are without question the GO TO BLANK in the industry. You will not be disappointed with your choice to use any of the QUALITY Batson products>> Thanks again to everyone who supports what we do for this Great Craft/Industry. If anyone is interested in these blanks just give Swampland a call. We have most of the new blanks in stock plus the new fiberglass cranking blanks. The RX8 popping blanks are very light and straight and will make some excellent trout and redfish rods. Special introductory pricing on these blanks will be available through Sunday. But you must call to receive the introductory prices. Lance Re: Batson NEW Blanks

I am still looking for the perfect jigworm blank for use with 1/8 oz mushroom head jigs and 6" worms using 8# co-poly or 10# braid. I need a fast tip able to cast a light bait, but lots of backbone so I can snap the jigworm out of curly leaf cabbage & coontail. Any input on which X-Bass model would fit the bill? The drop shot blanks I tried are too soft in the midrange.
Thanks Re: Batson NEW Blanks

Chuck;
Could be wrong (because I’ve not built it yet) but theXSB802.5 that just came in might fit the bill quite well. Bought it for a dock skipper but I think it would handle what you are looking for just fine. XSB802.75 TC 6'8" 1 6-15lb 3/16-5/8oz 0.465 .068/5.0 X-Fast 1.43 oz Finesse spin /tubes / jig worms / dock skipping I know you are suing 1/8 oz heads, but by the time you add the worm, you’re at 3/16 oz or more Edited 1 time(s). Steve, I was just looking at that one earlier. With the ISB781 and 822.5 I could cast fine, as well as skip weightless plastics. I just need a little more beef in the lower 2/3 to wrist-snap out of the weeds. I may try the 802.5 along with a few others I have been looking at.
