I believe Lance from Swampland mentioned something of this in another thread and they are waiting on them to come in.

It's a few different pieces. It's not really an ACS that's split. Looks like a whole different design, although there is some styling similarities. Actual trigger portion doesn't have the hole in it like an ACS and appears smaller. There is a spin version as well.

COMPLETE SPLIT SEAT ASSEMBLIES: BODY AND MATCHING HOOD
GRAPHITE NYLON HOOD
SKTS16 (CAST) 15.0 18.0
SKTS17 (CAST) 17.0 20.0
SKSS16 (SPIN) 15.0 18.0
SKSS17 (SPIN) 17.0 20.0
FROSTED SILVER HOOD
SKTPSM16 (CAST) 15.0 18.0
SKTPSM17 (CAST) 17.0 20.0
SKSPSM16 (SPIN) 15.0 18.0
SKSPSM17 (SPIN) 17.0 20.0
BLACK HOOD
SKTPSM16B (CAST) 15.0 18.0
SKTPSM17B (CAST) 17.0 20.0
SKSPSM16B (SPIN) 15.0 18.0
SKSPSM17B (SPIN) 17.0 20.0
GUNSMOKE HOOD
SKTPSM16BC (CAST) 15.0 18.0
SKTPSM17BC (CAST) 17.0 20.0
SKSPSM16BC (SPIN) 15.0 18.0
SKSPSM17BC (SPIN) 17.0 20.0

You then will need to arbor both the threads and the body (aka trigger) section:
SPLIT SEAT ARBORS
MODEL DESCRIPTION PRICE MSRP
SA16SS SOLID ARBOR FOR FUJI SIZE 16 SPLIT SEAT
SA17SS SOLID ARBOR FOR FUJI SIZE 17 SPLIT SEAT

And cover the ends with winding checks. Winding checks will be sized for various blank diameters:
GRAPHITE NYLON WINDING CHECKS
WCS16 ID 7mm- 15mm
WCS17 ID 7mm -15mm

You should need two arbors, three winding checks and the complete split seat assembly. Total cost looks to be around $12 MSRP in the early stuff. NOt sure what the price will end up being.

Peter my guess is that is a proprietary seat for Phoenix. Please reference page 24 of the 2011 Angler's Resource catalog.

I spoke with Jason with Phenix rods and he told me that he would consider selling the ACS version to me at a later time. It's the ECSM version that will be introduced sometimes in Sept. or early October.

I tried to post a picture, but they aren't showing. I would link the catalog but I can't because the only site I know where the 2011 catalog is listed is blocked from being posted here.

At $12 for all the parts it is a lot more expensive than a regular reel seat, I also don’t like the idea of having to deal with 8 separate parts. The thing I like now about using the CastAway seat to make a split seat is the fact that threaded end mounts directly to the blank without an arbor. On the good side foam arbors are lighter than reel seat plastic so it should be a lighter system, I am sure I will get one to try once they become available.
